For students aged 12-18 years, we offer a personalised service for a range of continental homestays to suit your dates, with a carefully selected family. For French student exchange and homestay holidays, we even have a dedicated website, www.french-exchange.co.uk where you can check out our latest notice board to find the ideal match and register your own interest should a suitable host family come available.
If you have a teenager in the family who would be interested in learning French in France, German in Germany or Spanish in Spain, then why not let them come as a homestay guest with a family in that country. We will match your family interests with a suitable host family with children of a similar age.
Your Motivation
You are learning French, German or Spanish in school, preparing for Common Entrance, GCSE or A level exams. You realise that with over 50% of marks now allocated to listening and speaking skills, it is essential that you spend time in that contry if you wish to achieve a good grade in that language. That is why we believe that integrating with a friendly French, German or Spanish family is the best solution.
The Family Profile
The family will be a welcoming native-speaking family from the country of your choice, with several children, one of around your teenager's age. The father will be in a profession (doctor, teacher, engineer, etc.). French families who live in a city typically have a holiday on the coast or in the mountains where they may spend time during the summer holidays. They will be matched to share your interests and tastes.
