Bournemouth is an exciting and cosmopolitan university town and holiday resort on the south coast of England only 2 hours from central London. Bournemouth is famous for its long sandy beaches, beautiful public gardens and vibrant international atmosphere. The town offers an excellent selection of restaurants, coffee shops, clubs, pubs, bars and shops. Bournemouth provides easy access to the beautiful coastline of southern England and to the New Forest, Bath, Oxford, Salisbury, Stonehenge, Winchester and Brighton. Kings School Bournemouth, accredited by the British Council, is open all year and is situated in a smart residential area only 5 minutes’ walk from Bournemouth town centre.
The school offers year-round courses for adults and also summer holiday courses for students aged 14+. In addition to general English courses, Kings offers exam preparation and Business English courses. Classes are small with normally 12-15 students per class. Students can choose between homestay and residential accommodation. The school has a study centre, 2 restaurants, free email and internet, sports facilities and holds regular sports and social events.

The general English course is ideal for those who want to improve their overall skills, focussing on grammar, reading, writing, speaking, listening and pronunciation. This course includes a test on arrival , use of the Computer Learning Centre, weekly progress reports, teaching materials, 2 free social activities a week and an end of course certificate. Lessons are dynamic and interesting with lots of interactive learning and close attention from your teacher in a class of max 14 people. A variety of learning materials are used, including magazines, video, newspapers and online resources.

This is a well-established course accepted by virtually all universities. This means that, if students have the ability, this course can take them to some of the very best universities in Britain.
100% of students who have graduated from this course since 1997 have secured a place at the university of their choice. This is a very intensive course which is taught in small classes and which covers a wide range of academic subjects at a standard which is academically equivalent to A-Levels. This course can prepare students for many undergraduate courses including: Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Law, Computing, Architecture, Design, Art, Business, etc.
